Zoar Levee: To Preserve and Protect

  • Aired: 04/09/2012
  • 24:55
  • Rating: NR
A levee built in the 1930s was intended to preserve the tiny, historic village of Zoar, Ohio, located in Tuscarawas County. Now evidence shows that the levee has the potential of failing, which could be disasterous for a community that is steeped in rich history. Western Reserve PBS visits with townspeople and government officials who are wrestling to determine the best course of action.
